Giving Opportunities

“Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift is from above..” James 1:17

Ways of Giving: The ways in which you can choose to support Monroe United Methodist Church are a matter of personal preference. For this reason, Monroe UMC offers a variety of programs designed to provide a selection of ways to support the church and its missions. Contributions can take many forms: outright gifts (of cash, stocks, securities, real or personal property, or life insurance) and deferred gifts (through wills and life-income trusts). You may choose to support ongoing programs of the church, capital improvement of the church’s facilities, or mission work around the world. Another approach is to give to the church’s Endowment Fund, which ensures long-term funding of many mission and outreach programs.

Apportionments: We support our national connection by our Apportioned Giving. For more information on this program please see the United Methodist Church website at www.umc.org.

Printer Cartridge Recycling: We are now collecting used ink cartridges (no Epson or Canon BCI) all inkjet cartridges must have a print head. The proceeds from this project will help the Verna Zandarski Scholarship Fund. This is a scholarship given to graduating students. Look for the collection box in the Fellowship Hall.
